A user receives a Protocol Error message on the LCD of the Apollo when sending data to the printer

The printer is telling the user there is a programming error

Clear the message by pressing the ‘PSE’ or ‘CAN’ key on the front panel of the printer. Load the printer with a minimum of 4″ wide stock. Put the printer in ASCII dump mode by holding in the ‘FF’ key while powering up the printer. The LCD will display ‘ASCII Dump Mode’. Send your data to the printer. A ‘dump’ of the data will print. An arrow will print on the line where there is a problem in the programming code. Compare that line of code against what is listed in the Apollo Programming Guide
